Remote Controlled Systems

Serving: North Idaho & Spokane Washington Areas

Home theater is a set-up of audio and visual equipment in your home that simulates the experience of going to the movies. Many tiny multiplex movie screens may not be able to compete with a competent home theater system.

A home theater’s finest feature is that it combines numerous gadgets and technologies to produce a one-of-a-kind movie experience. With so many gadgets, you’d have to juggle 10 or 12 remotes in a dark room. A high-end, lighted universal remote control, on the other hand, may combine all of your remote controls into one gadget, making your life much easier.

Choosing a Report

Choose a remote that can operate non-AV devices as well as heating, air conditioning, lighting, a drop-down motorized projection screen, and curtains.

The following are some qualities to look for in a universal remote control:

  • AV and non-AV infrared and RF remote-controlled devices can be operated with a single remote.
  • Backlit display in the remote (LCD screen)
  • Buttons that are illuminated
  • To eliminate the usage of batteries, there is an integrated charging station.
  • Buttons that are easy to see and utilize
  • Controls for the task (controlling multiple actions and devices from one button)
  • PC-based programming and computer interface
  • Database of device programming codes given by the manufacturer

Customizable

Remote controls may now be customized to the nth degree. Some allow you to programme them using your computer, while others use touchscreen phones that let you personalize everything down to the button arrangement. With one push of a button on the backlit display of the remote, you can recognize each device and set activities like turning on the TV, disc player, AV receiver, shutting the curtains, adjusting the temperature, and dimming the lights. The remote is connected to a database of thousands of devices via the PC interface. The remote readily learns controls from the other remote for the uncommon device that isn’t in the database.

Heating/air conditioning and lighting remotes, like AV equipment, can be replaced by a universal remote.

Lights and heating/air conditioning may be controlled remotely. Both lights and heating/air conditioning have a number of remote-controlled interfaces. Include remote-controlled thermostats, lights, and plugs in your new installation needs.

You may add wall switches, outlets, and connectors for overhead lighting to existing rooms that can all be controlled with a remote. Thermostats can also be upgraded to include a remote control. There are even versions that can be managed over a wireless
